Is PokerOfficer cheating?
- No, using PokerOfficer is allowed.
- PKR and other poker rooms allow trackers, so long as there is no collusion, or sharing of information. PokerOfficer doesn't data-mine (track players while you are away) or share information.
Will PokerOfficer help me win more?
- PokerOfficer helps you put players on a range of hands. This will help your strategy, but is not a replacement for it. You still need to learn proper poker skills.
- As you play using PokerOfficer you will develop your skills in reading opponents, based on their actions and their stats. You develop a more reliable read.
- Poker profit is all about making the least mistakes, and PokerOfficer can help provide a read that ultimately leads to less mistakes.
How do I transfer my hand database to a new computer?
- The hand history files you need from your OLD computer are usually located here:
C:\Program Files\PKR\handhistory\<yourname>
- Copy this folder to CD, or memory stick, to transfer it to the same handhistory folder on your laptop.
- Then in PokerOfficer, select the menu Main / Rescan All Hand History...
Can more than one player use PokerOfficer on the same computer?
- Yes - Although each time you want to change user, you need to install PokerOfficer again, so keep the download handy.
- This is very quick to install, as it just does "maintenance" copying the required licence file.
- Restart PokerOfficer, and check the "About" information box to confirm it is licenced to the correct player.
- Hands played with either player will be visible for both players, no need to transfer or import hands.
Troubleshooting
My PokerOfficer is not visible
- You must set PKR options to render in a window, and not use full screen mode. For details see PKR Settings.
Stats in wrong place
- Use the left mouse button to drag the windows into position.
- If multi-tabling, check the list of tables in PokerOfficer matches the order of tables in PKR and adjust using the PokerOfficer arrow buttons.
Where are the FLOP stats?
- Hover the mouse over a players stats window to see his FLOP statistics.
Why doesn't my Auto Switch work?
Most users will notice Auto Switch works automatically without any fuss. So do not be put off:-) If you're unfortunate to have problems, here are some tips.
- Check your PKR window fills the screen, it should be a maximized window (but not Full Screen mode).
- Try reducing your Windows screen resolution. This is a last resort, but can fix it.
